An old ACT! database is a group of files that share one name, such as CONTACTS.dbf, CONTACTS.blb, CONTACTS.hdb and so on. Send all of them, ideally by zipping the whole folder.

No. We read the database files directly, so you don't need ACT! or an old computer that still runs it.
If your database folder has a .dbf file and a .blb file with the same name, it's one we convert. If you see .adf and .pad files instead, it's ACT! 2005 or later. Not sure? Choose "Not sure" and upload; the free check will tell us.
Yes. The full text of notes, call and meeting results and e-mail history is extracted, dated and linked to the right contact.
Then you don't pay. That's what the free check is for. If some files are damaged or missing, we'll tell you what we could recover before you decide.
Files are uploaded over HTTPS, stored in a private area that isn't reachable from the web, used only to do your conversion, and deleted within 7 days after delivery (or within 30 days if you don't go ahead). See the Privacy notice.
We give you files laid out for HubSpot and Zoho imports, plus a standard CSV for everything else. If you'd like help with the import itself, mention it in your upload notes.
